You Are Unique...Different...

You are unique…different…some look at that as a bad thing.

Although created in God’s Image…we don’t all look, think or act the same. We are as much different as we are alike. Those of us who grew up feeling awkward and out of place, have hopefully grown to appreciate the fact that God made us unique with a unique purpose…it wasn’t an accident. When we don’t fit in, we often make adjustments to what God has created in order to be accepted and celebrated in this temporary place, by temporary people in our lives. When who we are within doesn’t align with who we’ve become to the outside world…there is no inner-peace…we’re at war with ourselves…who we created vs who God created.

Accept and grow God’s version of yourself…you will live in peace, no matter your circumstances. Don’t make yourself or allow anyone else to make you into someone that you aren’t. You didn’t create yourself and neither did anyone else. Our parents birthed us in the natural…but I believe that God chose them and gifted us to them. The One who created us is the One who is the ultimate foundation for us to grow, develop, manage and maintain who we are and the purpose that we were created for.

You’re unique…different…I hope you’ve realized…that it’s a good thing!
