Some things have to happen…

To see those that we can’t…

Those people, places and things…

What’s really in them…

What they are really made of

The best in some…and not so much in others

Some things have to happen…

Because if they didn’t…

We would never know…

Or may refuse to believe the reality that our eyes, ears…

And even common sense…

Tell us over and over again

Some things have to happen…

For us to believe what see…and that that we don’t

Why did this have to happen…we may ask…

What if it didn’t…I believe is a better question…

The scales would still be on some eyes

Some hearts only feel what happens to it or those connected to it

So, if some things didn’t happen…

Some hearts would never change from stone to flesh

Some minds would never switch from closed to open

Some hands would never release the grip of a fist…to an open palm

Not everything has to happen…but some things do

We may not have known…but now we know

Now what??

If it was a negative…turn it into a positive

If it was a positive already…add to it

If it had to happen…may it be used for our growth and God’s Glory!!
