As I sat down to blog this morning, I was moved to go back to my first blog. As I read it, I realized that I have been blogging for a little over a year. It doesn't seem that long. I just do what God puts in my heart to do and if it blesses one person...my job is done. Please reflect with me as you read my first blog below:
I have been asked to share some thoughts with you in a blog type format. I am open to doing whatever I can to inspire people through what I call ‘What In The World’ moments. Sometimes they slip up on you, but be determined to Praise and Press your way through. :) We all have a purpose that was included in our package. What God allows to happen, sometimes through our own free-will, someone else’s or simply by design, it is my belief that if we continue to believe, love, forgive and help others, even while we are going through difficulties, what seemed and probably was bad…becomes good.
Our journey through this life has different aspects and seasons…some are absolutely wonderful and others can be a bit hard to take. But when we believe in something beyond what we see, it gives us hope. What we are looking at, in the natural, can be really messed up, disappointing and discouraging…but when we read God’s word and believe it no matter what we see…it picks us up and pushes us forward.
Some aspects of life can be based on mistakes and/or fears. We did or didn’t do because we were afraid that this or that would or wouldn’t happen…if we did or didn’t do. Who we really are can be buried underneath layers of fear of ‘what ifs’, rejection, failure, abandonment, slander…the list goes on. We aren’t really living, until we are honest with ourselves about ourselves…and if we don’t like what we see…we can always go to our Creator and ask Him to help us become the version of us that he intended, in the first place.
