This is one of my favorite writings and some aspects of it seemed very fitting for some today:
The Day After
The Day After…it’s true, there is always a day after
In this life things don’t always play out as they do in our dreams
The question for us is, how will we handle it the day after…
Will we still seek God’s face and strive to be a living example of who He is or
Will we allow shame, disappointment, even anger transform us from our spiritual place to the emotional realities of this world
Stay in the spiritual zone or get there and stay there…
The Day After
Only God can protect, shield and prepare us for the days ahead
He will grant us peace and help us deal with reality without accepting it
You know the story…it’s not over until God says it is
Trust and believe and be obedient and at the end of
The Day After…
You will not look like or act like what you’ve gone through
Praise Him and handle it with dignity and grace
