You Be The Light...

You Be the Light…No matter where the darkness around you comes from…let your light shine…bright…deliberate and strong. We have the power to change situations within and outside of us…depending on how we choose to see it…person, place, or thing. We have the power to guide others through the darkness or encourage them to stay in it…darkness.

My mother used to say…there is some good in everybody…use the good that is in you, to bless someone else. It’s the simple gestures of kindness that we over look, often feeling that if we can’t do something big it won’t matter or be appreciated. The only hope that some may have in a sea of darkness, is your lighthouse. For some of us, that lighthouse is Jesus…but for those who don’t have a relationship with Him…you may be the only lighthouse that they are able to see and so the light in your house is the one that may save them, until they are able to see The Ultimate Lighthouse for themselves.

Don’t underestimate the power of your light. Even when you think others can’t see it, they can see it and feel the warmth that comes from it. Keep your light on…consistently…at all times…so that where ever you are…there is light…it can make a difference within yourself…in your home…on your job…at your church…in your community…your city…state…country…and the world that you live in…keep your light on for all to see…because of your light…where ever you are…darkness cannot remain.
