This Christmas Season...Let's Give To Others What God Gives To Us...

This Christmas Season…let’s give to others, what God gives to us. As we prepare to give gifts, let us remember that the greatest gifts of all…don’t cost anything. God is love…let us give some of that…not with our mouths, but from deep within our hearts. Let us remember to give what He gives to us…love…forgiveness…grace and mercy…understanding…comfort…wisdom…communication…

His presence…etc. The list goes on.

God is not selective with who He gives these gifts to. He doesn’t judge us based on our circumstances and then determine if He will love, forgive or grant us grace and mercy. For those who have chosen a Christian lifestyle, we expect God to love, forgive and grant us grace and mercy…and in turn…He expects us to grant to each other what we expect Him to do for us…love each other…forgive each other…grant grace and mercy to each other.

As you go about your day, allow God to use you to see those that others don’t see. See people as God sees them. Your eyes may see someone struggling with addiction, mental health issues, hunger, homelessness, joblessness, hopelessness, etc. That may be what you see right now…but that’s not who God created them to be and a simple word of encouragement spoken to them or an act of kindness, emitted by someone who is representing the lovingkindness of Jesus Christ, can move a person from where they are to where they are supposed to be…according to God’s plan for their lives. Use your time, talent and/or treasures to make a difference in the life of another.

But most of all give the gift of you…your love…your forgiveness…your grace and mercy…your understanding…your comfort…your wisdom…your communication…your presence…
