Still Standing in 2017…That’s a Blessing…Through It All…Living On Purpose. I hope that you are having an optimistic start to the New Year with great expectation! There is nothing we can do about the happenings of 2016…it’s forever gone…but we can do something about and with the moment in which we currently stand. God has granted us free-will to choose what we will do in this moment…something helpful or hurtful…behaviors that look more or less like Him…a year of better, not bitter, moments.

We can choose to believe what we see with our natural eyes or be guided by our spiritual vision. The closeness of our relationship with God will determine what we see, spiritually. If we aren’t studying the Bible for ourselves, praying and growing our relationship with God, what we think we see…may not be what it is.

I made a choice to live in 2016, in spite of my circumstances and God granted me peace and joy in the midst of the toughest of situations. In 2017…I choose to live…not just exist or go through the motions…but cherish every moment that has been gifted to me…that’s what life is…a gift…enjoy it…regardless of what is happening in the natural…celebrate The One who created you, celebrate yourself and celebrate all connected to you.

As God illuminates the light in you…you will become the light for someone else’s darkness…2017 live on purpose…your purpose…the one you were created for!
