When It Is Or Was Supposed To Be Temporary...And We Try To Make It Permanent...

When it is or was supposed to be temporary…and we try to make it permanent…people, places and/or things. Some people, places and/or things in our lives were never supposed to be permanent…I believe…some, yes…others, no. That’s where Divine Intervention can come into play and save us from ourselves…if we let It. When we try to force something to be…that isn’t supposed to be…we open our own hearts to ache…unnecessary pain, frustration and disappointment. Some things we can’t see, in the natural, but if we read God’s Word, believe it, for real…pray…humble ourselves enough to accept what He instructs us to do…and do it…His will…not ours…much of the heartache, many of us experience, wouldn’t have to be.

Enjoy the people in your life who want to be in your life…thank God for everyone who has crossed paths with you…good, bad or indifferent…in some cases you’ve learned what to do or, perhaps, what not to do. Intentionally or unintentionally, some have been a part of your spiritual growth process…because of their encouragement…you have grown spiritually…or…because of their treatment…you have prayed more than you ever would have…which has grown you to a level you may not have reached…had you not gone through what they put you through.

Regardless of what he, she, they have done in your life…forgive…so that your heart is free to the flow of love…fully and completely, throughout your heart…love can’t flow through hardened parts of our hearts…only forgiveness can melt away the hardened areas…after forgiveness comes…genuine love...flowing freely, no matter what…then life…the joy of living…not just existing…is our new normal.

Don’t try to hold on to something that was supposed to be temporary…ask God…and listen to what He puts in your heart…He will let you know…just make sure that it’s His Will you’re pursuing and not your own...oh...and it's much better if you ask Him in advance...not after the fact. :)
