'Here Today…Gone Today'…I’ve Grown Up Hearing ‘Here Today…Gone Tomorrow’…But Sometimes…

Here Today…Gone Today…I’ve grown up hearing ‘here today…gone tomorrow’…but sometimes…people, places and things…are here today and gone today. As we continue to say, ‘good morning’ we realize how temporary everything is…we, ourselves…loved ones…where we live…what we drive…where we work…what we eat… In some cases…what we were able to do at the beginning of the day…by the end of the day…something in life has happened and things for us change…our physical abilities…our mental processing…or the ability to control our emotions…living a different life at the end of the day than we were living at the beginning of the day.

Some things are totally out of our control and come out of nowhere…as much as we try to prepare…there is no preparation for what was or might be…now it just is. We could ask the question why…but why…often there is no answer or logical explanation…it just is…a reality of life. Anger and frustration won’t change it…unless channeled into a determined energy to live on purpose…in spite of what it is happening in the natural…while believing that this is not it…we will LIVE again...

To all who have experienced loss as a result of Hurricane Harvey…and his remnants…you have been and will continue to be in my prayers. We prayed you through the storm and we will continue to pray you through the recovery process…no matter what it looks like…keep your Faith…Hurricane Harvey…took a lot…don’t let it take your Faith…keep looking up!!
