Find Your Voice…Make It Heard...

Find your voice…make it heard... As a child…I was very quiet…kept my thoughts and opinions to myself. As it is with many quiet people…no one really knows what we’re thinking. We aren’t confrontational, so we often allow life to happen to us…but typically…the day comes when we find our voice and make it heard. As you have probably figured out, through reading what I write…quiet…I am…no more.

There are so many different ways that we can make our voices heard…in spoken and unspoken ways. We can use our voices in positive or negative ways…to help or to hurt…to bring about peace or divide. We get to choose how we will use our voice…if we will use our voice…why…and when. Our voice can impact our and/or someone else’s right now experience…it can impact our children and the children of the world’s right now and forever experiences.

As my very wise mother taught me…our lives are not our own…everything we do has an effect on someone else…positive or negative. What we say…or don’t say…do or don’t do…matters…find your voice…make it heard…it could make the difference in the world that we live in…your voice is more powerful than you think…

It’s easier to be quiet…you don’t have to worry about being judged or condemned because of your opinion or thoughts on a matter…because no one knows what it is.

It takes courage to voice your beliefs…share your experiences…and when the desire to do so comes from a deeper place…a spiritual place…you’re more concerned about what God thinks, than what people think…ultimately…it’s Him we have to answer to at the end of the day...He has given us all a voice…spoken or unspoken…how will you use yours…
