Flowchart…that’s what life reminds me of…if this…then that…

Flowchart…that’s what life reminds me of…if this…then that… If we get hurt…acknowledge it…and choose a path of healing…our lives go in one direction…if we get hurt…don’t acknowledge it…and choose a path that drags hurt along…our lives go down a totally different path that results in decisions based on emotional hurts.

I wonder what our world…public and personal…would look like if when we get hurt…we acknowledge it…seek help until we find it…spiritually and naturally…with a determination to not live life in a sea of hurt…but a flowing river of healing…what if…every time a hurt shows up…the river of healing washes it away with fresh living water…that can only be experienced through forgiveness…what if…

I often think about…what if…every person who has allowed their hurt to control their emotions and use them to hurt others…actually healed from their hurt…what direction would their Flowchart of Life take… Too often…when we are hurting…we hurt others…intentionally…or unintentionally…and once they become hurt…then they...more often than not… hurt others…it’s a roller coaster ride that we have to choose to get off…then, hopefully, turn around and assist someone else with getting off…

…every divorcer and divorcee

…every abused and abuser

…every victim and victimizer

…every person with an addiction issue

…every person with an anger issue

…every person who has been abandoned

…talked about…lied on…misunderstood…

…every person that has hurt another…or been hurt…

…what if…

…every one of us healed from our hurts, for real…how would that change the path on our Flowchart of Life…for us…and all connected to us…

…how would it change our world…personal and public…what if…

Everything that is, doesn’t have to be…sometimes...it’s a me thing…that becomes a we thing…that’s how we bring about change…
