Defend and Prove…we can spend so much time trying to defend and prove that we aren’t who they say, or said, we are…that we didn’t do what they say, or said, we did…so much time wasted…defending and proving…

One of the things that I have learned, for sure, is that people believe what they choose to believe…often…it doesn’t have to even make sense. The mistake that some of us make…is to spend time trying to convince someone that we aren’t who they say we are…that can be such a waste of time…our time…which is the equivalent of our life.

Don’t spend your time Defending and Proving who you are to someone who has already made up their mind…live your life…secure in who you are…but most importantly…live out the version of you that God created you to be…what matters most is what you know to be true about yourself. Allow God to represent you…defend and prove…who you are. At this point in life, I’ve noticed that His outcome seems to always be better than ours…

Continue to do your best at being the best version of you that God created…being more concerned about what He says or thinks about who you are…He knows the truth about who we are…be honest about any changes that you need to make, for the better…and with determination…make them.

My mother used to declare that…like a tree…planted by the water…she would not be moved…I declare it too…what about you? When you work as if you are ‘working unto the Lord’ what’s happening around you…may affect your physical self…but doesn’t stand a chance with your spiritual self.

Live your life…enjoy it…not based on circumstance or what he, she, or they did or didn’t do or say…but based on purpose…yours…
