The making of a prayer warrior…

It happens without you realizing it…
It starts with praying yourself through some things…
Eventually, using a combination of praying and scripturing your way through…
Before you know it, your prayers are no longer random…
But directly related to what God’s Word says…
You become hungrier for it…The Word…
You begin to use it during the practice drills…the ‘what in the world’ moments…
You’re becoming a soldier…training for battle…
You can’t see it coming and even when it strikes…it is sight unseen…
The battle isn’t in the natural…but usually starts in the mind…
As a soldier, we have to fight to remain in control…it’s a spiritual battle…
If we don’t isolate the battle in the mind, it will occupy our heart…and ultimately our spirit…
In the making of a prayer warrior…
The battles start out small and are easy to conquer during daylight…
But it’s the battles that are fought in the dark…for what seems like an endless period of time…
Those battles require a higher level of trust in God and a deeper prayer and scripture artillery…
That’s what we use as weapons to fight…prayer and scripture…
Not just for ourselves and our own…
But we move to a point of standing in the gap…
Fighting for…protecting…someone else who’s engaged in battle…
A spiritual battle that ultimately, for some, becomes an undeniable spiritual warfare…
Without realizing it…
A prayer warrior has been prepared…
Has gotten stronger with every battle…
Continues to master the weapons of prayer and The Word of God…
Standing in the gap…fighting for…protecting…themselves…their own…others…and their own…
A prayer warrior finds themselves praying for everyone and someone…throughout the day…and night…
There is no graduation or ceremony when you officially become a prayer warrior…you just are…
You’ll know when…and those that God calls you to stand in the gap with…and for…they’ll know…
That you’re a soldier…in God’s Army…a prayer warrior…with a Special Force that dwells on the inside of you…God’s Holy Spirit…It always wins…in Its own time…
