Gratitude and Forgiveness…they go together
When I think about all of the things that I’m grateful for…
There is a warm feeling that comes over me…
Often, tears fill my eyes
When I think about where I could be…
Who I could be…
I just have to say “Thank you, Dear God”…
For loving me more than I love myself…
For protecting me from me…sometimes…
And anyone else that would harm me…
Intentionally or unintentionally
I just want to say “Thank You, Lord”…
For healing the hurts…
And putting unspeakable joy…
And forgiveness…for real…
Deep down in my soul
All I can say is “Thank You”…
For the family that you birthed me to…
And those that you’ve gifted me
For family…who are my friends…
And friends…who are my family
“Thank You”…
For Your Favor…Love…Kindness…
Grace…Mercy…Forgiveness…
Comfort…Guidance…Protection…
Provision and Peace…
No matter what it looks like…
Gratitude and Forgiveness…they go together
And where they are…
Peace, Love and Joy will be also…
Within us…and all around us…
