For the good of…us all

Compared to the number of us there are…

There are a select few…who…

Commit their lives to serving as our protectors

Our nights of rest are uninterrupted without worry…

Because we know that we are being protected by warriors…

Brave men and women who will put their lives on the line…

To protect people that they don’t even know

Regardless of our race or color of our skin…they are protecting us

Regardless of our religion…they are protecting us

Regardless of what we believe…or don’t believe…

Political affiliation…if we’re nice or not nice…

They protect us all

My prayer is that we will do a better job of showing them…

That same level of committed protection…

After they have given all that they can give…

And need just a little bit back

Some of our warriors paid the ultimate sacrifice…

And so have their families…in the loss

What can we do for our fallen warriors…

Respect their sacrifice…and never forget…

Them…or their spouses and children…

They sacrifice…for the good of us all…also

Not everyone was created to be a warrior…

Thank God for the one’s who where…

And continue to be…

For the good of…us all
