Fathers…what you do today…
Matters tomorrow…and forever more
Your commitment…compassion…protection…
Provision…comfort…unconditional forgiveness…
And especially…your unconditional love…
It’s life changing…and sustaining
Not just for your biological children…
But for all that have been Divinely assigned to you
You don’t choose to become an example…
You just are…
Sometimes without knowledge of all…
That are watching and learning what to…
Or not to do…because of your example
Long after you’ve left this place…
Those that you are a natural example to…
And those that chose you as an example…
The way you did or did not commit
The way you did or did not show compassion
They way you did or did not protect
The way you did or did not provide
The way you did or did not comfort
The way you did or did not forgive…
Or love…unconditionally…
It matters…not just today…but all of their lives
Not just for your biological…
But all the children…and other fathers…
Who are looking to you and…
Sometimes have nobody else…but you…as an example
You don’t get to choose who you are an example to…
You just are…
And it matters…forever…
