Turn your flashlight on…please

When it’s dark outside and there are no street lights...

It can be a very scary place…

Because we can’t see…

We can’t see the danger before us…

How every move we or someone else makes…impacts us

Not just at the moment…

But the wrong move could have an everlasting affect…

Not just on us…but generations to come

Turn your flashlight on…please

When it’s dark outside and there are no street lights...

We don’t know what direction we are going in…

Are we moving forward or backwards…

Or are we going in a circle

And if we have a guide…how can we know where he is leading us…

If he can’t see his way through the pitfalls…sinkholes…walls…

And all else that keeps us on a path to nowhere

Or somewhere...that none of us recognize

Turn your flashlight on…please

Because it’s dark outside and there are no street lights…

But we need to see who…what…and where

And we need to see if the one guiding us…

Is being guided by the Divine One…Who guides us…

Even in darkness

You’ve got light…turn it on please…

If ever we needed it…
