Spotlight On Our Hearts…
This is the time for us to focus on what God does…
Our hearts…what’s really in it
What motivates what it does and why
Is it capable of assessing itself…
Diagnosing its own issues…
Committing to and believing in the treatment plan
Unforgiveness, envy, misinformation, uninformed…
Churns into anger…churns into hatred
Which is not attractive at all, by the way
And it hurts the people closest to us
Not just in ways that are obvious to the eyes
But in some deep seeded ways…
That alter their path in life
And not for the better
What is in the heart of one person…
Can affect generations, if we don’t periodically assess…
What’s in our own hearts…
Be honest about it
And with precision and determination…
Remove and replace…
Unforgiveness with forgiveness
Envy with celebration
Misinformation with wisdom
Uninformed with a desire to learn
The power is in why we do…not what
Our hearts…what’s really in it…
He, she, they…may not know…
But God does
