‘What In The World’ is going on

‘What In The World’ is going on

I don’t even know

One day it’s this…

And the next it’s that

One day it looks pretty dark…

Only to wake up and find…

That it just got darker

I’m encouraged though

‘Why’ or ‘How’ could you be…

Some might ask

I was taught to Believe

I was taught to Pray

I was taught to Study my Bible

I was taught to Worship

I was taught to Praise…even in the midst of

I was taught how to do those things…

By my parents and others placed in my life

And I am so grateful for the introduction…

And education of what to do…and how

But it is the ‘what in the world’ moments of my life

That have brought back all that I’ve

Been taught and continue to learn

And churned it into a relationship…

A steadfast one…with Jesus

That’s where my Faith and Hope come from…

No matter what it looks like…in the natural

Even in what seem to be some of the darkest of times...

Don’t underestimate the power of your light…

Our collective light

When it shows up…darkness cannot remain

If anyone of us is missing…the light on the inside of us that fills our space…is missing

And so our space is left empty…available for darkness to step in

Don’t let darkness represent you…that space was created for you…

You were created for it…don’t let anyone fill it for you

Show up…fill your own space…with your own light
