There wouldn’t be a yesterday…
Today would just stay today
If we were intended to stay stuck…
There wouldn’t be a tomorrow…
A different day to look forward to
If we were intended to stay stuck…
What would be the purpose…
Of one more opportunity to say ‘Good Morning’
If we were intended to stay stuck
What would be the purpose…
Of closing out this day…
With a prayer of gratitude and hope for tomorrow
We were not intended to stay stuck…
That’s why yesterday was…and is no more
Today is…but tomorrow…it will not be
Everyday is a new day…new beginning…new mercies
Because we were not intended to stay stuck
