Just because it’s broken now…doesn’t mean it will be forever
There are people, places and things that are broken and have been for a while…
Counted out as having no value or useless
They are tossed aside, given or even thrown away
It’s not that repair or healing isn’t possible…
But sometimes we look to or go to the wrong source
Some sources we choose because of who they are…
Our relationship to them, their title or status
Sources that we seek for repair of our brokenness…
Can be in people, places and/or things
But if we don’t seek Divine Intervention from the One Who created us…
We can find ourselves with many broken pieces…
That float around inside and eventually, outside of us
And broken pieces outside of us…can eventually make their way in
If we hang around them long enough, they can have an affect on…
All…many…or most of the days of our lives
That’s not how it’s supposed to be…God is The Source…
But He has given us resources to repair any damage
Or brokenness that living life has created in and around us…
Sometimes as consequences of our own actions or reactions…those of others
And at times, I have no doubt that it is the enemy himself…
Doing all he can to keep you and me from being all that we were created to be
He knows the power that God has equipped us with
And the change and transformation that will happen…
To bring about healing and mending of broken pieces in the lives we touch
We have to remember that when we are feeling as if we can’t catch a break…
Are overwhelmed or minimize the power of the gifts and talents that God has put in us…
And the anointing that He has blessed us with…We can’t fall for it…
Take inventory of who’s in your ear…who do you listen to most
Do they encourage or discourage…what’s the quality of your conversations
Do they leave you feeling inspired or defeated…looking forward or simply stuck
Can you trust them to be honest with you…not for hurtful…but helpful intent
Sometimes we listen to and confide in people, places and/or things that God didn’t assign to us…
But rather they are people, places and spaces that we have chosen…our choices…
And as many of us have witnessed, the enemy will use anyone who will let him…
Or any weakness he can find…within or outside of…to break us and keep us broken
The good news is that being honest with ourselves, about ourselves
And all that we touch and that touches us…preps us for the healing process
It’s not easy and we can spend a long time getting there…especially if we don’t ask The Source…The One Who created us…
For the right resources…so that we don’t continue to live broken…
And in some cases…living broken, while thinking that we are whole and others are broken
My prayer for me and you…is that God will heal every broken piece…
That swirls on the inside of us and any that are in spaces and places around us
And that we will stay focused on what we were created to do…our assignments
Remembering that…even while we are going through the healing process
And our broken pieces are being gathered and restored…
God will use us…at the same time…
To be a resource for the healing of someone else’s broken pieces
What have you gone through…that God can use you, to help someone else…
Identify, gather and present their broken pieces for restoration and healing
Meditate on that…
