Life…It’s A Gift…

It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of it all…

The strife, hurt and growing pains that can be a part of our day to day

Even in the midst of the seasons that make us wonder…

What in the World…

Life…is a gift that we have been given…

We didn’t earn it…and honestly can’t humanly possibly…

Come close to what it would take to be worthy of such a gift

When we really think about it…

It’s a one day at a time type of situation

We know that we were born with a purpose…

But the specifics aren’t handed to us in a documented format…

Or like a syllabus, telling us the steps needed to complete the course

There is no map that shows us how to get from where we are…to where we are supposed to be

Our number of days on this side of Glory…aren’t disclosed to us or anyone else for that matter…

Only God knows that number…we live each day…with no clue whether or not it is our last

Because of all of the unknowns that come with the Gift of Life

There is a Source that I use to give me the guidance I need…when I can’t see a thing…

Lift my spirits when they try to take a dive…

Comfort and give me peace beyond my own understanding…

And fills me with unspeakable joy…even in the midst of…

It reminds me that my life is not just, my life...

It's a piece of a puzzle that serves a purpose...today...

And can make a difference for many tomorrows to come...

In the lives of family and strangers that I will never know

The Bible is my Source…

Not for me to beat anyone else over the head with…

But as my guide to help me be a better version of myself

The version that God created and intended…

Before the effects of the world…experiences, people, places and things

Life…It’s A Gift…

We have no idea what is to come tomorrow…

So enjoy today…while living out your purpose

Forgive…as much as you can…so you can…Love…as much as you can
