My prayer for the Black Man…

ree

Dear God,

I pray for the Black Man’s healing…

Those who suffer in...and outside of...silence

And those You use as agents of change...

Please touch the silent parts of them

I ask for the healing of Black Men…

Past, present and future Leaders of Households

I ask for Your forgiveness and that You would hear this prayer

And put forgiveness in the Black Man’s heart

Not as a pass for those who trespass against them

But please let them know that it is for them…their souls

I pray for salvation, deliverance and freedom…

In mind, body and spirit, for those who need it

And a re-filling of Your Holy Spirit for those who know You

I pray that those in the lives of every Black Man…

Will have compassion and understanding…as much as they can…

Of what it means to be a Black Man in this country and others

I ask that You use us, to meet their unspoken needs

And that You would grant them peace…within and all around them

And that You will give them unspeakable joy…

No matter what it looks like in the natural

I ask that You heal every hurt that they’ve ever experienced

And that you would return them to the original version of themselves…

That you created them to be…

Before the hurts, pain, disappointments and frustrations of life

I trust You, Lord, with everything concerning them

I pray the prayer of Jabez over them,

Oh, that you would bless them indeed

And enlarge their territory

That Your Hand would be with them

And that you would keep them from evil

That they may not cause pain

Protect them, please Jesus, from all dangers…seen and unseen

Remind them that each of them were created for a specific purpose

Help them and us…to see them as You do

And please help them to never forget…

That although sometimes dismissed…they are always relevant

I pray this prayer for every Black Man…everywhere…

In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Amen. And Amen.
