Thank You, Lord, for the freedom to be me! ‘Your’ version!

A writer before I knew I was…God knew…

Recently, I found some old journals from years ago

I also found envelopes, stickies, random programs and pieces of paper…

With written messages that seem to be flowing from my heart, documented randomly

I find it interesting, but most of all…confirmation…that these messages weren’t just for current life situations or circumstances

They weren’t just wisdom, knowledge, direction, motivation and inspiration for the present…but also, or simply perhaps, for what was to come…

That that I could not yet see…but would be prepared for and would have what I needed to navigate through the waters of life…when they weren’t still

They are reminders that any challenges I face in life…because of God’s Grace and Mercy…

I can see His why it had to happen…and how He’s used it to grow me so I could do what He created me to do

What I know for sure is that what God flows through me…has helped my healing process and grown my faith…but these messages aren’t just for me…

And so I share…not what I want to…but what I’m moved to

And so it is that I share this reflective, yet prophetic, message that flowed from my heart through a pen and onto paper on 2.19.2018:

Like a fish out of water…that’s how I used to feel…I wasn’t born uncomfortable, but made to feel that way

Not by people inside my house, but the one’s that the enemy tried to use to destroy me…outside of my house

The dynamic was two-fold…interesting…on one hand, I was the recipient of extraordinary love…

And on the other hand…treated like I was nothing

I didn’t understand the definition of self-esteem stealers…at the time

When people treat you like you’re nothing…it’s not you who have the problem…it’s the self-esteem stealer who has the problem

When someone is trying to destroy you…they may not even know why…because it’s a spiritual warfare

The enemy knows why God created you…so he needs you to be stripped of self-esteem or self-concept…

That would give you the courage and determination to do the things that you feel in your heart…

And to use the talents you’ve been given…instead of hiding them

When God has His hands on us…no matter what the enemy or his imps do…

It makes us stronger…propels us closer to God

Sometimes it feels like He’s all we have…and perhaps that’s by design

Though the above was written in 2018, long before today...there are timeless reflective and inspirational nuggets in it...for us all
