Whatever We Have On The Inside…Can Be A Gift...Or Not So Much

Whatever we have on the inside…can be a gift...or not so much

I wrote about this in one of my books

And have seen it too many times, not to believe it

If we have lots of love, patience, joy, peace and forgiveness on the inside…

That’s what we give to those connected to us…and those we come in contact with

If we have pain, anger, hatred, jealousy, deception and unforgiveness on the inside…

A cocktail of negative feelings gone ignored, you may get just about anything…

Up to and including…taking the breath of another

The good news is that we don’t have to be Line 6

We have the power within, to back it up to Line 4…if we need to

It takes being honest with ourselves, about ourselves

And being willing to work until our change comes…and stays

Change isn’t easy and certainly consistent and lasting change…

Moreso than not, requires the assistance of the One Who created us

Thank God we don’t have to stay the way we are

Every day that we are given the gift of saying “Good Morning”…

Is another chance to do different…and be different

When we change…whatever is connected to us changes

And if not, the connection changes and no longer affects us the same

We don’t have the power to change others…just ourselves
