'Why am I here'…'Why are you here'

'Why am I here'…'Why are you here'

I started asking myself that when I was in middle school

It just felt like I was supposed to be doing something…

But I didn’t know what it was or why I was here

It bothered me that I didn’t know the answer to that question

I can remember sitting in the choir stand…

Asking that question…why am I here

As I fast forward this morning…in looking back

I’m reminded of the last writing in my first book…

“As It Flows From My Heart”, p 58

It is in that writing that I realized that…

I was no longer asking why am I here

Because at that point I knew that my life had purpose

The question had evolved into ‘What’s In Me’:

What’s In Me?

I can feel it

I can feel the power

But I don’t know what it is

What’s In Me?

I see the preparation

As the time gets closer

I feel the sense of urgency

What’s In Me?

I don’t know what it is

But I am getting excited

About fulfilling my purpose

What’s In Me?

When will it be revealed?

How will it impact my life

Or the lives of others?

What’s In Me?

Nine more books of what flows from my heart…

Were penned after that last message in the first book…and yes…there is more to come

As I am writing this to you and for you this morning

God is showing me that, in this season…

I am still learning more about what’s in me…

As I once again have that burning desire…

That there is something else that I don’t know…but I’m supposed to know

I also now know that it was never me that I was asking these questions...but the One Who created me

Recently, I received an amazing opportunity to learn more about my spiritual gifts

And how God uses them in every aspect of our lives…in what we’ve been created to do

So don’t stop asking the question…why are you here…

Until you move to the next dimension of asking…what’s in you…

And then getting the answer to that question...

While learning and confirming the spiritual gifts that are in you

And maximizing their use in blessing others...

You know...doing what we were created to do...the way we are supposed to do it

I’m looking forward to what’s next??
