Writing my way out of darkness…into the light

It’s how I stay in the light…writing what flows from my heart

I continue to discover that I’m not just a poet…

But a novelist…a blogger…a writer who was born to write

I haven’t always known that…but as I look back…now I know

I just started writing a fictional novel…

That has been in my heart for several months

I wasn’t sure how to start writing it, so I just…started writing

Eight chapters just flowed from my heart in a short period of time

When I’m writing is when I feel most alive…at peace

I don’t have to think about it…it’s not complicated…it just flows

It has been my saving grace for over 8 years and hopefully for my readers too

I am so grateful to God for this gift that brings me so much joy

And for allowing a life altering event that made me…see me

And ultimately caused me…to be me…closer to the version He created

Whatever gift God has given you…use it as a wave…
